Classification Specifications
Specifications very generally describe the work being performed and are the basic authority for assigning positions to a particular classification (i.e., job title).
 
Alphabetical Listing of Classifications
The State of Wisconsin currently has 1800 classifications, all of which are found in the Alphabetical Listing of Classifications. Each classification is identified by a class code, pay schedule and range, minimum and maximum of the pay range, FLSA status, bargaining unit, job group, etc.
 
Non-Represented Compensation Plan
Except for s. ER 29.05, Wis. Adm. Code, compensation administration provisions for nonrepresented employees are provided in the compensation plan.
 
Counterpart Pay Range
OSER may designate pay ranges or groupings of pay ranges in different pay schedules to be at the same level (i.e., "counterpart") for the purpose of determining personnel transactions. Bulletin No. OSER-0350-CLR-MRS provides current information regarding counterpart pay range designations.
