Salary:	Starting salary is between $63,321 and $67,209 per year (full-time) based on prior nursing experience in the designated discipline. Candidates who are new to state service are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $1000. NOTE: Nurse Clinician 3s employed at MMHI will receive an additional $1.00 per hour add-on for all hours worked. This position is in pay schedule 11, range 41. A six-month probationary period is required.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   

Knowledge of infection control standards; patient confidentiality and privacy; and effective conflict-resolution methods. Ability to assess/differentiate biological/medical and psychiatric health issues and apply progressive psychiatric nursing concepts; lead/direct and train staff using effective written and oral communications skills.
